Grounds 2 Play is a documentary film series consisting of short videos that discuss the importance of playgrounds for children, specifically playgrounds in Metro Manila. This series seeks to raise awareness about its decline and neglect, basing its content on research and previously conducted interviews. The videos are easy-to-understand, short, and visually appealing, made for the viewing of the general public.
Our
Story
This project was created due to the group noticing the lack of playgrounds around the city of Manila. Since the group consists of students from outside the city itself, we extended the scope of the project to Metro Manila itself. As children, we have different and varying experiences with playgrounds. However, since the pandemic, the conversation about playgrounds have become more nuanced for the newest generation.
